Terms & Shipping PAYMENT Full payment plus shipping costs must be received before birds are shipped. Certified check, cashier's check or money order for immediate shipping; for credit cards and personal checks please allow approximately 10 days for shipping. We accept Visa and MasterCard. SHIPPING We usually use US Air, Delta or Continental Airlines. While there are a range of services to pick from, we strongly encourage our customers to go with the counter to counter service. The age of the baby, the duration of the flight and the weather will be the determining factors. There will be a fee of $15 to $25 (depending upon size) for a shipping container for your baby. This will be a "Cabin Kennel" or "Kennel Cab", suitable for reuse as a travel case. The date and time of the flight will be up to you. Tell us the nearest major airport to you and what you prefer as far as morning or afternoon, weekday or weekend, etc., and we will find a flight that reflects as closely as possible your preferences. All agreed-upon information will be confirmed within 24 hours of shipping and within one hour of departure you will be contacted with the airbill number to claim your bird at the airport.
